What are custom adventures?

Custom trips are hiking tours that are developed for a set group of people. They may be family, friends, organizations, or business groups. The dates have not been pre-selected and are specifically designed to the desires of the group. Custom trips can be as varied as is the Southwest. Do a Classic trip on your schedule or spend a week in one location. Traverse the Grand Canyon, explore underground caverns, or experience other natural wonders that the Southwest has to offer. These trips can be designed for as short as 5 nights/6 days or longer. Reservations for a custom trip are usually made at least a year in advance but occasionally can be reserved on shorter notice.

What are the group sizes?

Group sizes range from 8 to 12 people. In addition, there are two trip leaders that assist each group. If you have a group of at least 8 people this will constitute a group and, if you desire, no other individuals will be added to the group.

What are trip leaders?

Trip leaders are individuals who possess a passion for sharing their love of adventure, culture and special places not found on tour maps. They are individuals who will connect you to the region and enable you to experience things you might not do on your own. Passionate and informed, they devote themselves to unveiling the beauty, history, traditions and culture of the places we travel.

When should I make reservations?
