Reservations for a Destination trip should be made as soon as possible. The deposit for each trip is $1000.00/person. Deposits may be made by cash or check. The balance of the trip cost is due 90 days prior to the departure date and may be made by cash or check. The necessary forms for trip reservations are furnished after you contact Destinations. What is Destinations cancellation policy? If you must cancel your reservation or trip, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the following formula:
* If Destinations can replace an individual with another reservation, there will be no cancellation fee. This does not include flight, if optioned in. Does Destinations supply Travel Insurance? Destinations can provide each participant information regarding travel insurance. A travel protection insurance application form will be sent to you after your reservation has been received.
What are the lodging accommodations? All rooms are double or twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. All prices are based on double occupancy. Single rooms are subject to availability and additional cost. In-park lodging is provided where available.
What are my responsibilities as a guest? As a guest, it is your responsibility to participate in activities that best match your abilities, fitness level and state of health. You are required to notify Destinations of any physical or mental condition so that we could make arrangements, if necessary. You will be required to sign a tour specification form that contains agreements between Destinations and you. This will include but not be limited to a release of liability form, personal form, and voluntary participation form. You will be expected to arrive at the start of the trip with all of the appropriate clothing and equipment. Respect the laws and customs of the areas you visit and act in a courteous and polite manner to your fellow travelers, by respecting their rights and privacy. Always respect the environment and follow the trip leaders lead in practicing proper care for your surroundings. Trip leaders can ask any individual to leave the tour if the persons actions could be detrimental to themselves, or to the well-being and enjoyment of others.
What are Destinations limits of liability? Destinations is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; travel by plane, train, auto, bus, boat or any other conveyance, or by foot, horseback or any other form of active or adventure travel; civil unrest; terrorism; equipment failure; high altitudes; consumption of alcohol; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; and the adequacy of the medical attention once provided. Destinations is also not liable for expenses (e.g., meals, transportation, lodging costs) not specified as included in the trip cost but may be required to get to a trip start or end. Destinations reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the trip's quality or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guest. Trip participants give permission for Destinations to make photographs or film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, without financial enumeration.
