Antelope Canyon , also known as "The Corkscrew", is a slot canyon that is amazingly beautiful. Sensuously sculpted walls twist and wind along, glowing in unbelievable shades of red, orange, and yellow as the sun passes overhead .

This monument preserves three of the most-intact cliff dwellings of the ancestral Puebloan people (Hisatsinom). The Navajo people who live here today call these ancient ones "Anasazi".

The towering cliffs of Havasu Canyon enclose a land of blue-green waters, breathtaking waterfalls, and lush vegetation. The Havasupai Indian Reservation, particularly the Supai village, seems to be a magical valley that time forgot. It is a refuge from the cares of modern civilization.
